Role Overview
Pacific Coast Post-Acute is growing and is hiring a part-time Dietary Cook for its kitchen team in Gold Coast. This role is suited to someone who enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality food and working in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
Key Duties
- Prepare ingredients by weighing, measuring, and combining them accurately according to recipes.
- Check ingredient quality and freshness while ensuring all dietary restrictions are followed carefully.
- Cook meals, then plate and present them neatly to support a positive resident dining experience.
- Keep the kitchen orderly and make sure tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
Required Background
- A minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience is required.
- A current ServSafe certification must be held.
- The ability to thrive in a cooperative, team-based workplace is important.
Pay and Benefits
The position offers pay in the range of $19.50 to $20.00 per hour. The workplace is described as energetic, engaging, and supported by a strong team culture. Ongoing training, recognition, and bonus opportunities are available. If the role later becomes full time, eligibility may extend to medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
