Role overview

AutoCanada’s Northland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Prince George, British Columbia is hiring a full-time Detailer for an immediate start. AutoCanada is a large Canadian-owned, publicly traded automotive dealer group with operations in Canada and the US, focused on innovation, data-driven decisions, and strong operational performance.

This position plays a key role in preparing customer vehicles for delivery by ensuring they meet dealership presentation standards inside and out. The role also supports the service team by keeping the work area clean and orderly and by working in line with safety expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Clean and detail both the interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
  • Carry out routine detailing tasks such as vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing.
  • Make sure vehicle exteriors are spotless and free of smudges.
  • Refresh interiors by wiping dashboards, vacuuming cabins, and cleaning floor mats.
  • Apply paint sealant as needed.
  • Clean and shine wheels and rims.
  • Use hand-held detailing tools and equipment to complete interior and exterior work.
  • Alert a supervisor or technician if any vehicle part appears to need repair or replacement.
  • Complete quality-control checklists.
  • Handle additional repair-related duties when required.

What you need

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Interest in the automotive field and familiarity with vehicles.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Prior exposure to cleaning products, cleaning tools, and power washers is an advantage.
  • Strong reliability, dependability, and attention to detail.
  • Good ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to handle physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, long periods of standing, and use of power tools and hand equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
