What you will do

You will help keep the facility operating to a high standard while supporting top-quality service for customers. The position involves vehicle driving, detailing, and cleaning, along with responding quickly and courteously to customer questions or complaints so they are handled promptly and to completion.

The work includes washing vehicle exteriors with appropriate cleaning products, waxing and buffing surfaces, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and other interior surfaces, drying with air compressors and cloths, and applying protective treatments to help guard against stains and spots. You may also use dyes, paints, waxes, and engine-cleaning products when needed, including work on engines and engine compartments. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.

Working conditions

  • The job is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and repeated entry into and exit from vehicles throughout the shift.
  • Some work may be performed outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
  • You will move and handle many vehicles during the workday.
  • Safe, OSHA-approved products such as window cleaner, tar remover, and tire shine must be used.
  • The role involves regular use of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • You may need to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • You must be able to receive detailed instructions clearly through spoken communication.
  • Good vision and hearing are required.
  • You should be able to spot small flaws such as streaks, smudges, or missed vacuum areas and verify the quality of your own work and that of teammates.
  • The job requires urgency and respect for customer time.
  • Uniform and grooming rules must be followed strictly.
