This role is based in London, Ontario, Canada and is a full-time onsite position.
Role Summary
The Detailer supports the collision repair workflow by preparing vehicles before they enter production and by cleaning and finishing assigned vehicles before they are returned to customers. The role also includes keeping the facility clean and organized while helping the team meet shop performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors using hands, brushes, or mechanical washing equipment.
- Clean and polish windows, windshields, lights, floor mats, and exterior surfaces.
- Improve and protect vehicle finishes through waxing, buffing, and polishing.
- Vacuum, shampoo, freshen, and clean interiors, including minor stain removal when needed.
- Keep the shop tidy by sweeping floors and emptying garbage bins every day.
- Maintain a clean, orderly parking lot at all times.
- Power wash shop floors when needed to reduce visible dirt buildup.
- Organize vehicles in the parking area each day, including keys, floor mats, and repair order signs.
- Follow the WOW operating process consistently to support quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Careful attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-moving setting and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Capability to bend, crouch, reach, use tools, and lift materials weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.

Compensation for this role is $17.60 to $22.00 per hour, depending on skill, education, and experience.
