Role overview
Olik Global is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to support end users in a busy hospital environment in Tampa, Florida. This contract position is fully onsite and is intended for someone who can troubleshoot efficiently, manage tasks independently, and deliver dependable support in a clinical setting.
Work location and schedule
The assignment is based in Tampa, FL, with a 100% onsite work arrangement. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on first shift. Overtime may be required depending on workload.
Contract details
The engagement is expected to continue until the end of 2026, with a possible extension through the end of January 2027.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is $23 to $26 per hour.
Key responsibilities
The technician will provide desktop and technical assistance to hospital staff, support Active Directory user management and related troubleshooting, handle PC imaging and device rollouts, and use SCCM for deployments and updates. The role also includes resolving issues with Microsoft Office and other standard business applications, organizing workstation cabling, responding to incidents and service requests, and keeping tickets moving in line with SLA expectations. Professional conduct and adherence to hospital policies are essential.
Required background
Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of practical desktop support experience and have direct exposure to Active Directory, SCCM, PC imaging, deployments, and Microsoft Office. A solid grasp of hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting is necessary, along with the ability to operate effectively in a healthcare setting. Strong organization, time management, self-direction, and reliability are important for success in this fast-paced onsite role.
Additional expectations
The person hired should be comfortable working independently while staying aligned with IT team workflows, and should be prepared to take initiative when issues arise. The role may require overtime as needed.
