Job description
About the Company
Landor is part of WPP and works with global brands to create stronger, more resilient identities. The studio combines strategic thinking, design, experience, governance, and measurement to solve business challenges through brand-led solutions. Its wider network also includes amp for sonic branding, bdg for workplace and architectural expertise, Deep Local for creative technology, and ManvsMachine for 3D motion design.
WPP positions itself as a growth partner for leading brands, bringing together media intelligence, data, creativity, production, enterprise solutions, and strategic advice through its WPP Open platform.
Role Overview
Landor is seeking a Designer to support the Brand Guidelines team within the Global Design Studio. The role focuses on updating and extending existing brand applications while staying aligned with established systems, rules, and structures. It calls for a designer who is highly detail-driven, comfortable working within defined frameworks, and able to maintain consistency, precision, and craft across multiple touchpoints.
In this position, you will help create detailed brand and corporate guidelines for major global clients across corporate, FMCG, and retail sectors. You will work closely with Design Directors, Senior Designers, Strategists, and other creative specialists to document, apply, and extend brand identities for a broad range of real-world uses.
What You'll Do
- Refresh and extend existing brand assets while staying true to established systems and design rules.
- Ensure every layout and application is accurate, consistent, and carefully finished.
- Spot issues in brand deployment early and work toward practical design solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver structured and coherent design systems across different touchpoints.
What You'll Need
- A solid grasp of brand systems, layout logic, and visual hierarchy.
- Advanced working ability in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, plus practical exposure to Photoshop.
- Strong precision and discipline when working inside existing brand frameworks.
- Good organisational ability to handle timelines and several deliverables at once.
- Familiarity with Figma would be a plus.
Work Style
The company follows a hybrid way of working, with teams generally in the office about four days each week because collaboration, connection, and creativity are considered strongest when people work together. However, the role itself is tagged as remote.
Equal Opportunity
Landor states that it is an equal opportunity employer and evaluates all candidates fairly, without discrimination. The company emphasises a respectful workplace where people belong and can grow in their careers.
