Role overview

NORTHSIX is hiring a dependable, practical Depot Administrator to help keep a Ballarat depot running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The position involves supporting scheduling activities, assisting the site manager, and contributing to the overall operation of a small depot team.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who is comfortable working hands-on and has experience in transport, logistics, or warehousing.

Key responsibilities

  • Support order processing and dispatch activities.
  • Respond to customer questions and requests in person, over the phone, and by email.
  • Receive, manage, and store incoming deliveries appropriately.
  • Use a forklift as required and assist with depot operations.
  • Carry out general housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks across the depot.
  • Work in line with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Deliver courteous and professional support to drivers and customers.

Experience and requirements

  • Background in administrative or scheduling work.
  • Current forklift licence is essential.
  • Previous exposure to transport, logistics, or warehousing will be highly regarded.
