Delivery Officer

About the Role

Medicals International is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Officer to join our team in Dubai. This field-based position involves the timely and safe delivery of customer orders, collection of payments, and ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent knowledge of local routes, and can work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute customer order deliveries according to predetermined schedules and optimized routes.
• Secure customer signatures on invoices to confirm successful delivery.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to gather outstanding payments from clients.
• Provide regular updates on delivery progress and location to the Customer Service Manager.
• Deposit all collected payments with the Accounts Receivable department each day.
• Ensure the company-provided vehicle is kept in excellent operational condition and properly maintained.
• Undertake additional duties, including the transport and collection of important documents to and from government bodies, various offices, and other entities as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a high school education; a formal certificate is not strictly required.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Dubai's local roads, delivery routes, and geographical areas.
• Exhibit strong navigational skills and effective time management abilities.
• Be a self-starter, reliable, and capable of managing tasks autonomously.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction.

Physical Requirements

• Maintain a good level of physical fitness to handle driving duties for extended durations.
• Be able to manage the loading, unloading, and carrying of packages, with individual items weighing up to 20 kg.

Working Conditions

• This role is primarily field-based, involving significant daily travel and road-based activities.
• The appointed individual will be accountable for the secure handling and delivery of all company products, ensuring no loss or damage occurs during transit.
