General Job Duties for All Store Team Members

• Operate all necessary equipment.
• Restock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and workstations.
• Prepare food products according to company standards.
• Handle and process customer orders received via telephone.
• Conduct inventory counts and complete associated documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.

Training

On-the-job orientation and comprehensive training will be provided.

Communication Skills

• Ability to understand and follow written instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in verbal communication with customers and colleagues for order processing, both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions and Skills

• Accurate and rapid performance of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), with calculator use permitted.
• Competence in making correct cash and credit card change.
• Effective verbal, written, and telephone communication for order taking and processing.
• Good hand-eye coordination for precise and rapid movements.
• Ability to input orders efficiently using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Strong navigational skills for map reading and locating addresses within the delivery area.
• Capability to navigate diverse environments, including multi-story buildings and various delivery sites, while carrying product.

Work Conditions

Exposure:

• Potential exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor tasks like trash removal.
• In-store temperatures can range from 36°F in the cooler to over 90°F in some work areas.
• Sudden temperature changes may occur between indoor and outdoor environments.
• Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Work may occur in confined spaces, including the walk-in cooler.
• Exposure to hot surfaces and tools, with ovens reaching 500°F or higher.
• Risk of cuts from sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions while driving for deliveries or distributing promotional materials.

Sensing:

• Ability to talk and hear effectively on the telephone.
• Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
• Depth perception is required.
• Ability to distinguish between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision capabilities are necessary for driving.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

• Standing: Most tasks require standing. Walking surfaces include tile and linoleum. Work surface heights range from 36" to 48".
• Walking: Performed for short distances and durations, such as moving between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting: Primarily for completing paperwork in an office setting.
• Lifting: Unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck. Stacking cases of ingredients and supplies (up to 72" high).
• Carrying: Transporting items like pizza dough trays (approx. 12 lbs each), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and beverages during deliveries.
• Pushing: Moving dollies with stacks of trays (requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force). Pulling trays is also sometimes necessary.
• Climbing: Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs or maintenance. May involve navigating multiple flights of stairs during deliveries.
• Stooping/Bending: Required at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and during stocking. Forward bending at the waist is common.
• Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally for shelf stocking and cleaning low areas.
• Reaching: Continuous reaching up, down, and forward for tasks such as operating oven controls, changing signs, stocking shelves, scooping ingredients, and answering phones.
• Driving: Delivering pizzas within a designated area, potentially making multiple deliveries per shift. Distributing flyers and door hangers.

• May utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.
