Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours)

Role overview

GSF Car Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and with customers. In this role, you will deliver parts on time, provide reliable customer service, and share useful feedback from the field to help the branch stay responsive and competitive.

This is a zero-hours/casual contract position, mainly used to cover holidays and absences in the branch. The role supports the wider branch operation and plays an important part in maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key duties

• Deliver products to customer premises within a 40-mile radius of the branch
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service during every delivery
• Report relevant customer and competitor activity back to the branch
• Load the vehicle in line with company procedures
• Collect customer returns when needed
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks
• Support warehouse work whenever required
• Assist with inter-branch transfer deliveries as needed

Working pattern

The expected working pattern is up to 41 average hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working depending on branch cover requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring strong driving experience, excellent local route knowledge, and a clear commitment to customer service.

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• At least 3 years of driving experience
• Good knowledge of the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch
• Previous experience in a delivery driver position
• Understanding of what excellent customer service looks like
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time well
• Customer-first attitude, with motivation to go the extra mile
