About the role
This is a customer-facing delivery position based in Rockhampton, where the driver does more than transport parts. The role sits within the branch team and contributes to service quality, sales support, and day-to-day operations.
What you will do
- Plan and coordinate deliveries to trade customers.
- Transport parts and products safely to workshops, dealerships, and other trade sites.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment while driving and handling goods.
- Demonstrate careful driving habits at all times.
- Provide a high standard of service to customers during every delivery.
- Develop positive, long-term relationships with customers.
- Promote products and marketing initiatives while on delivery runs.
- Support the wider team with tasks such as order processing, dispatch, credit processing, and handling customer enquiries.
What the role involves
The job includes physical activity such as lifting, bending, and climbing, along with safe operation of vehicles and equipment. It also requires a strong focus on workplace safety and independent work.

- A service-oriented approach with the confidence to build rapport quickly.
- Friendly, practical, and well-informed communication style.
- Comfort working on your own and managing daily responsibilities independently.
- Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including heavier items.
- Consistent attention to safety in the workplace and on the road.
- Commitment to safe driving practices.
- A current driver’s licence, with manual licence preferred.
- Previous customer service experience in a trade or mechanical setting is desirable.
- Availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work other days if needed.
