Job description

Role overview

Domino’s is hiring delivery experts for its Jonesboro, AR location. The team is expanding and immediate hiring is available. Candidates can select short or long shifts and may choose either part-time or full-time schedules.

Compensation is typically above $20 per hour when combining wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday.

What the job involves

Delivery team members may use their own car and receive mileage reimbursement designed to help cover fuel and other vehicle-related expenses, or they may use a company vehicle for deliveries if they meet the vehicle-use requirements.

The role depends on safe, efficient delivery of Domino’s products using modern technology and route support tools. Faster and safer delivery performance can lead to better earnings.

Scheduling is flexible, and the store offers shifts that can fit different availability needs. The company also notes growth paths into roles such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager.

Requirements and qualifications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to pass a background check, and hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history subject to motor vehicle record review. A reliable vehicle and valid insurance are required.

Strong navigation ability is needed, including reading maps, finding addresses within the delivery zone, and handling multi-story buildings and other difficult terrain when delivering orders. The role also calls for the ability to follow instructions, repeat tasks, work independently and with a team, handle pressure, maintain quality standards, deliver excellent customer service, and make sound decisions.

To use a company vehicle, the driver must be at least 21 years old and have at least 2 years of driving history along with a clean driving record.

Working conditions

The job may involve exposure to changing weather during deliveries and flyer distribution, sudden temperature differences between indoor and outdoor work areas, food-related fumes and cornmeal dust, compact workspaces including walk-in coolers, hot surfaces and tools such as ovens reaching 500 degrees or higher, and sharp edges or moving mechanical parts.

Physical demands

The position includes walking, carrying, climbing, driving, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use. Drivers may need to move between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, carry pizzas and drinks, and climb multiple flights of stairs.

Continuous reaching, bending, and hand coordination are required for tasks such as food assembly, stocking, cleaning, handling tools, and packaging. Vision, hearing, and depth perception are important for both store work and night driving.

Culture and opportunity

Domino’s emphasizes honesty, transparency, accountability, and a people-first approach. The company highlights diversity, individual contribution, and long-term opportunity within the brand.

Employment note

This opening is for a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is solely responsible for hiring, supervision, pay, benefits, staffing, and scheduling. Domino’s corporate entities do not control the hiring process or employment terms for this position.

Additional information

Domino’s says it continues to create a stable and safe work environment and remains committed to helping team members grow. Many franchise owners reportedly started their careers as delivery drivers or pizza makers.

All details related to pay structure, schedule flexibility, delivery methods, working conditions, and franchise arrangement should be reviewed carefully before applying.
