Role Overview

This position is for a delivery driver based at the 1441 Broadway location in Schenectady, NY. The role offers the chance to drive in your own vehicle, listen to your own music while on the road, and earn both hourly pay and tips. The role is available on a part-time basis with flexible scheduling. Drivers receive mileage reimbursement and tips at the end of each shift, and hourly wages are paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience is required.
• A stable work history is preferred.
• Must be able to meet company screening standards related to motor vehicle records, DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks.
• Prior experience transporting food or beverages is an advantage.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
• Must be comfortable maneuvering a vehicle in tight spaces and heavy traffic.

Driving History Requirements

• Applicants who are 18 years old must show at least 2 years of driving history immediately before the motor vehicle record review.
• Applicants who are 19 years old must show at least 1 year of driving history immediately before the motor vehicle record review.
• Learner’s permit time can only be counted if it is officially documented by a government authority.
• Only applicants with an officially stated license will be accepted.

Driving Record Standards

• No more than 2 driving-related violations within the last 2 years.
• No more than 3 driving-related violations within the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• Candidates with any of the following will not be eligible to drive for Domino’s: leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, any drug- or alcohol-related driving violation, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding/attempting to elude an officer.
