Role overview
An established supply chain partner is seeking a skilled and adaptable Declarant to manage airfreight and aircraft parts/AOG customs processing. The main objective of this position is to prepare and submit customs documentation accurately and without errors, while strictly following the applicable legal procedures for customs clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Handle shipment paperwork and customs declarations for aircraft parts, AOG items, and aircraft engines for both imports and exports.
- Prepare and submit customs entries including IDF, IM4, IM7, EX1, and EX3.
- Prepare and process different permit types, including TFB through Kentrade.
Experience and skills required
The ideal candidate should bring solid hands-on experience in customs declaration work, particularly within aviation-related cargo. Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes, relevant systems, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting the wider team are essential.
Academic qualifications
A bachelor's degree in any business-related discipline or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is required. A diploma in Customs Administration, together with a proficiency certificate in ICMS from KESRA, is also expected. The candidate must have an active ICMS password.
