Job description
Role Overview
Figment is seeking a Deals & Acquisitions Associate to help source, assess, and move property opportunities through the investment process. The role sits at the intersection of deal sourcing, underwriting, process improvement, and reporting, with direct exposure to the Founder & CEO and Executive Advisor. This is a full-time position based in Singapore with a hybrid working model.
Compensation and Start Date
The annual package is stated at S$62,000 to S$76,000, inclusive of base salary and AWS, along with an estimated additional annual ESOP grant of about S$50,000. The role is available for an immediate start.
About the Company
Figment focuses on transforming conserved heritage homes into distinctive hospitality-inspired residences. The company positions itself as a purpose-led operator in Singapore’s built heritage space, with recognition from major media outlets and experience hosting more than 4,000 members from well-known organizations over the past three-plus years.
What You Will Drive
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified deal opportunities that align with the company’s investment criteria.
- Shorten the time between identifying a deal and presenting an indicative offer.
- Keep verified owner contact rates consistently high.
- Prepare quarterly LOIs that satisfy Investment Committee expectations.
- Expand the pool of opportunities by adding verified new leads on a regular basis.
- Increase sourcing coverage across property portals and related channels.
- Set up and run structured A/B tests for outreach methods.
- Capture successful workflows in SOPs so they can be repeated and scaled.
- Improve the accuracy of early pricing versus final IC-approved valuations.
- Keep capex and yield estimates within tight variance ranges.
- Draft polished investment memos with clear market analysis.
- Build a dependable source of truth for deal-flow metrics.
- Create dashboards that track stage movement, cycle times, and conversion performance.
- Maintain clean, reliable data across systems and reporting tools.
- Establish recurring reporting rhythms for leadership visibility.
Working Style and Growth
The environment is remote-first in practice and highly results-driven, with an emphasis on self-management, clear communication, and measurable outcomes. The company highlights rapid growth, broad responsibility from day one, and potential progression into Deal Associate, VP-level roles, and possibly phantom equity eligibility.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree, ideally in a quantitative discipline. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, project reporting, and interdepartmental coordination are important. Background in data analysis and budget management is preferred, and consulting experience with an operations focus is also desirable.

Additional Notes
The company describes itself as profitable and bootstrapped, backed by tangible shophouse assets rather than venture funding. It also frames the role as part of a broader mission to preserve architectural heritage while scaling a boutique-homes concept across global markets.
Reporting Line
This position reports to the Founder & CEO and an Executive Advisor.
