Daytime Custodian/Cleaner

What you will do

• Keep the facility clean and safe on an ongoing basis.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and clearing trash containers each day.
• Clean glass surfaces, replenish restroom supplies, and flag any problems while requesting needed materials.
• Remove spills and other slip hazards using appropriate tools such as sponges and squeegees.
• Lock up the building after cleaning is finished to help secure the premises.
• Document completed cleaning areas and inform management about any major repair concerns.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate works diligently, pays close attention to detail, and has practical experience handling cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment. A strong work ethic and a commitment to doing the job well are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, along with at least 3 years of janitorial experience. You should also have a driver’s license or dependable transportation to reach the site.
