Role overview
This part-time position is based in a busy corporate office in Hawke's Bay and is designed for someone who enjoys practical work, varied tasks, and keeping a workplace running smoothly. The role begins right away and involves two days each week.
The day porter will help maintain a polished, organised, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and service providers. The work is hands-on and requires initiative, attention to detail, and a helpful approach.
What you will do
- Arrange, refresh, and keep meeting rooms and common areas in good order
- Make sure office spaces stay clean, neat, and ready for use during the day
- Replenish kitchen items, refreshments, snacks, and stationery
- Assist with catering arrangements and Boost Day activities, including setup and pack-down
- Work with vendors and support external suppliers while they are onsite
- Handle ad hoc workplace support requests and general office tasks
- Help move furniture and carry out other light physical duties when needed

Work schedule
You will work on Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Flexibility may be needed for office events and changing business requirements. The start date is Wednesday, 24 June.
Compensation and benefits
