Job description
Company Overview
Ipsaa is a children’s learning and care organization that offers day care, pre-school, and hobby classes in a supportive, thoughtfully designed setting. Its focus is on giving children a secure and engaging place where they can explore, create, and build confidence. The programs are structured to encourage intellectual, social, and emotional growth through activities suited to each age group.
Role Overview
The Day Care Teacher in Jaipur will be responsible for building a friendly, inclusive, and secure atmosphere for children by combining routine care with play-based learning. The position is based on site at the Ipsaa center in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
You will plan and lead daily activities that help children develop cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. This includes sessions such as storytelling, art, music, and outdoor play. The role also requires constant supervision of children, encouragement of positive behavior, and careful attention to cleanliness, safety, and overall well-being in both the classroom and shared spaces.
You will keep parents and caregivers updated on children’s progress and any concerns, and work closely with colleagues and coordinators to ensure the program is delivered consistently and to a high standard.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should have experience in early childhood care and education, ideally in day care, pre-school, or another child-focused environment. Strong skills in engaging children and managing small groups are important, along with the ability to design age-appropriate activities.
Good communication and people skills are needed to work effectively with children, families, and team members. You should also be able to maintain a neat, safe, and organized environment while following health and safety practices. Patience, empathy, and a caring approach toward children from varied backgrounds are essential.
Basic documentation and record-keeping ability is expected for tasks such as attendance tracking, observations, and reporting to families or supervisors. A diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. The center also expects willingness to take part in ongoing training and professional development.
About the Organization
Ipsaa builds nurturing environments where children can enjoy meaningful learning experiences while families can feel confident about the care provided.
