Job description
Position Overview
As a Data Scientist, you will work on predictive modeling and advanced analytics to uncover meaningful insights from large and complex datasets. Your work will help build data-driven solutions, strengthen AI performance tracking, and support better decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop predictive models and advanced analytical methods to extract insights from extensive datasets.
- Build automated reporting solutions that track AI system performance and clearly show the value created for stakeholders.
- Create innovative data products and visualizations that enable informed decisions at every level of the organization.
- Thoroughly test and validate AI models to ensure they remain accurate and reliable across different conditions.
- Present technical findings and recommendations in a way that is easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand.
Requirements
- Completed a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or operations research, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau is an advantage, or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
- Strong interest in statistics and machine learning.
- Confident English communication skills for working effectively in an international environment.
- Ability to translate complex technical ideas into practical business recommendations.
Additional Information
This role is based in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany and is a full-time on-site position.
