Job description

This is a contract Data Scientist position based in Brazil and performed remotely. The role calls for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Gather data from varied sources, then clean, structure, and prepare it so it is reliable for analysis.
Build, test, and apply statistical approaches that turn complex data into useful business insights.
Run exploratory analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and areas where performance can be improved.
Communicate results clearly through reports and data visualizations that work for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work with teammates to plan, develop, and deliver data projects end to end.
Refine analysis methods and automate repetitive tasks to make data processes more efficient.

Solid experience in statistics, mathematics, and analytical techniques.
Hands-on background in collecting, processing, and cleaning large and complex datasets.
Strong coding ability in Python, R, or similar languages used for data preparation and modeling.
Good understanding of data modeling, including the creation and validation of predictive models.
Advanced skills in data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable libraries.
