Role overview
Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst for its healthcare-focused work in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The position is centered on examining healthcare datasets, turning raw data into actionable insights, and helping teams make better decisions that support patient outcomes and smoother operations.

Key responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and evaluate data from healthcare-related sources.
- Look for patterns and meaningful trends within patient, claims, and operational information.
- Create dashboards and reporting outputs with business intelligence tools.
- Work closely with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders to support shared goals.
- Maintain data quality standards and follow HIPAA-related compliance practices.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is needed.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Data Analyst is required.
- Prior exposure to healthcare data is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Excel is expected.
Preferred technical exposure
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards is useful.
- Experience handling EHR or EMR datasets is preferred.
