Data Analyst

Job Overview

This role entails analyzing, verifying, tracking, and reporting on databases and software relevant to the department's operations. The Data Analyst acts as the bridge between the department's analytical requirements and the technical data storage systems, working closely with stakeholders to gather and document specifications for reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis, verification, tracking, and reporting of departmental databases and software applications.
• Formulate strategies to assess key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, outcomes evaluation, and population management studies.
• Create technical and functional documentation derived from business needs and detailed analysis of technical workflows.
• Detect and address data quality problems affecting report accuracy, such as duplicate entries or missing information.
• Design data visualizations and apply presentation techniques to communicate findings effectively to management.
• Monitor trends and maintain tracking of various metrics to maximize the use of available databases and data files.
• Implement additional software solutions to streamline backend processes and improve efficiency.
• Serve as an intermediary between analytical teams and technical data storage resources.
• Operate with general guidance, making independent decisions as necessary in varied assignments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, with all core responsibilities complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Have between 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience in a similar analytic role.
