About the Role
Dehgamwala & Sons is seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join their team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position offers an on-site or hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from diverse sources to assist in business decision-making.
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visual tools to effectively communicate critical insights.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint trends, uncover opportunities, and suggest operational enhancements.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to comprehend their reporting and analytics needs.
- Validate data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Formulate actionable recommendations based on thorough data analysis aligned with business goals.
- Provide support for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning tasks.
- Help create and upkeep data models and reporting frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong capability in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis methods.
- Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages is considered a plus.
- Understanding of database architecture, data warehousing principles, and reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
- Ability to present complex datasets clearly and informatively.
