Role overview
This is a remote hourly contract opportunity based in Canada, expected to run for about 2 months. The compensation range is $70 to $90 per hour.
Key work
- Examine content for possible security weaknesses and recurring threat signals.
- Tackle and assess advanced cybersecurity challenges with practical, real-world relevance.
- Help strengthen model reasoning related to security risks and attack techniques.
- Collaborate asynchronously with subject-matter experts in systems programming and cybersecurity.
- Assist with classification and evaluation processes tied to security research.
Requirements
- Hands-on background in low-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including web security and attack vectors.
- Working familiarity with vulnerability classification systems such as OWASP or CVEs.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and pattern-recognition skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
- Must be able to clear an enhanced background check.
