Job description

Role overview

This position is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The work centers on testing how well AI performs on security-related tasks and making sure its outputs are practical, accurate, and grounded in real-world cyber expertise.

You will collaborate with modern AI models on assignments such as reviewing AI-written security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how these systems understand threats and defenses. Some contributors do this alongside another job, while others make it their main focus.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be released through the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Check AI-created cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security methods, to confirm it is technically correct and realistic.
  • Build and solve security-oriented technical problems that help train AI models.
  • Produce clear technical write-ups and security-related code.
  • Share input that influences the next generation of AI systems for cyber defense and threat analysis.

Compensation and contract details

Work is paid on an hourly basis, with rates starting at $50 and reaching $100+ per hour depending on the project. Some assignments also offer bonus pay. This is an independent contractor arrangement, and payments are handled through PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any fee or send money.

Work style

You can pick the projects you want to take on and decide when to work. The role is fully remote, so you can complete tasks from home on your own computer and manage your schedule independently.

Eligibility and location

This opportunity is open only to applicants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring at least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government or military cyber work. Comfort with coding is required, including the ability to move around and patch an existing codebase. Strong English writing ability at a native or bilingual level is also expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered beneficial.

Additional information

This role is focused on contributing to AI development in the cybersecurity domain. It is designed for professionals who can evaluate technical accuracy, reason through complex security scenarios, and communicate findings clearly.
