With strong growth, rising annual contract values, and a focus on increasing revenue from current customers, the business is now hiring a commercially minded Customer Success Manager to manage a high-value portfolio.
About the Role
This position is a commercially focused client success role with clear accountability for retention, expansion, and account growth. You will oversee a portfolio of high-value public and private sector accounts, with responsibility for strengthening long-term customer value and increasing revenue.
- Take ownership of a strategic portfolio of high-spend accounts and grow their value over time.
- Improve net revenue retention through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives.
- Spot expansion opportunities by matching product strengths to changing customer needs.
- Handle commercial discussions from value positioning through pricing and negotiation.
- Create and deliver account plans centred on growth, stakeholder mapping, and revenue opportunity.
- Build strong, multi-level relationships with senior stakeholders, including budget owners.
- Lead quarterly and executive business reviews with a clear commercial focus and connect results to future investment.
- Partner closely with Sales on major expansion opportunities and wider account strategy.
About You
You are a commercially minded Customer Success or Client Success professional who is comfortable being accountable for results and numbers.
- You bring 3 to 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Client Success, Account Management, or a blended CS/Sales role in SaaS.
- You have a proven history of increasing revenue inside existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- You have managed large, complex accounts with meaningful annual contract values.
- You are confident in commercial conversations and can discuss value, ROI, and budgets clearly.
- You have strong stakeholder management skills and can influence across functions and seniority levels.
- Experience working with public sector clients and/or regulated industries is valuable.
- You think strategically and work proactively with a strong growth mindset.
- You take a data-led approach to account planning and forecasting.
- Previous exposure to change management would be a strong advantage.
Package
- Base pay up to £65,000 with realistic on-target earnings of £75,000 to £80,000.
- Fully remote position with occasional travel to London.
