Job description
Role overview
Google is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Looker who can serve as a technical partner to enterprise customers using Google Cloud’s analytics and business intelligence offerings. In this role, you will help customers design, adopt, and expand their use of Looker by combining customer success leadership with deep technical guidance. You will work across stakeholder groups, remove adoption blockers, and help customers realize measurable business value from their investments.
The position is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with an option to indicate a preferred working location from Madrid, Spain or Dublin, Ireland when applying.
Google Cloud supports digital transformation for organizations worldwide through enterprise-grade tools and developer-focused technology. The work environment emphasizes ownership, speed, collaboration, and strategic impact across customers and internal teams.
What you will do
You will operate as a trusted analytics advisor for customers, helping executive and practitioner audiences understand how to use BI tools effectively. You will guide onboarding and adoption across a portfolio of accounts, build success plans with organizational, program, and technical components, and help customers move faster by identifying the right services and adoption strategies.
The role also involves partnering with account teams, advising senior stakeholders, recommending architectural improvements, and serving as a bridge between customer needs and product engineering so that product direction better reflects real-world requirements.
Minimum qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years in a customer-facing position focused on customer development. Experience in a technical role such as customer engineering, technical support, or professional services consulting is also required, especially where troubleshooting was a core part of the work.
Preferred qualifications
A master’s degree in management, a technical field, engineering, or an equivalent practical background is preferred. Additional strengths include experience working with channel partners and system integrators, familiarity with the Google Cloud ecosystem, and experience partnering with enterprise or solution architects on roadmap planning. Candidates who have led or managed complex analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing programs in large enterprises, and who bring strong communication, presentation, and program management skills, will be especially well suited.
Compensation and benefits
Pay is influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The stated annual compensation ranges are €100000 to €103000 in Spain and €118000 to €121000 in Ireland. Both locations include a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
Equal opportunity statement
Google is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without discrimination based on protected characteristics. Qualified applicants with criminal histories are also considered in line with applicable legal requirements. Reasonable accommodation is available for applicants with disabilities or special needs.
Additional information
By applying, you may indicate a preferred working location from Madrid, Spain or Dublin, Ireland. The role includes a technical advisory element and is intended to support customer success across enterprise analytics deployments.
