Job description
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Customer Service Consultant to join the team on a permanent full-time basis in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. In this position, you will be part of the Customer Service team and report to the Customer Service Manager while handling customer service, sales, and support over phone and email.
What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls and email questions from residential customers
- Reach out proactively to current customers to promote the company’s products and services
- Handle customer issues efficiently and with accuracy
- Arrange appointments for home customers
- Turn incoming enquiries into sales leads and opportunities
- Coordinate with teammates to support daily operations
- Work toward call handling and internal sales goals
- Keep customer records and databases current and compliant
What We’re Looking For
- Background in customer service or call centre work is required
- Proven ability to sell over the phone and convert enquiries into sales
- Comfort using multiple database platforms and email tools; knowledge of Word and spreadsheet software is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay composed under pressure while managing several tasks at once
- Solid problem-solving ability
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on creating an excellent service experience
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support colleagues
- Professional, dependable, and punctual work style
- Accurate data entry skills
