Opportunity Overview
This position is for a Customer Lifecycle Marketing professional at MakeMyTrip. It is a Senior Executive-level role reporting to the Deputy Manager - Online Marketing and is based in Gurugram.
About the Function
The marketing organization at MakeMyTrip works to strengthen brand visibility, attract new customers, and improve engagement across channels. The team blends creative thinking with analytical decision-making to plan and deliver focused campaigns that create measurable business value. Within this setup, the Customer Lifecycle Marketing team owns strategy and execution across the full customer journey, including onboarding, engagement, retention, and loyalty, with the aim of building stronger customer relationships and improving lifetime value.
Role Summary
MakeMyTrip is looking for a driven and experienced Manager to join its Customer Lifecycle Marketing team. The selected candidate will design and run lifecycle campaigns, refine customer touchpoints, and create opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell. The role plays an important part in improving engagement, lifting retention performance, and increasing overall customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and launch campaigns that strengthen engagement, retention, and loyalty for the assigned customer segment.
- Use analytical tools and customer data to understand behavior, preferences, and trends, and identify growth opportunities through Excel and SQL-based analysis of large datasets.
- Build and maintain segmentation and targeting approaches that improve the effectiveness of the customer journey.
- Streamline customer journeys by reducing friction, limiting unnecessary interactions, and improving communication efficiency through automation and CLM platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
- An MBA from a well-regarded institute with 2 to 4 years of practical experience.
- Hands-on exposure to web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Experience with CRM tools such as MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap, or similar platforms.
- Strong command of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Marketing or sales experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
