Role Summary
The Custodian II (Lead) supports cleanliness, safety, and order in designated areas while also helping coordinate day-to-day custodial operations.
Key Duties
- Help onboard and train newly hired team members.
- Assist the supervisor in creating work assignments for junior staff.
- Use cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies to maintain facility areas and dispose of waste and recyclables.
- Check and secure interior and exterior access points and escalate any concerns to the right department.
- Keep supply rooms and equipment areas neat, track inventory, and request replenishments when needed.
- Record and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and pest control concerns.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Education
No formal education is required.
Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Compensation
Pay ranges from $15.40 to $23.10 per hour.
