Custodial Pool Staff

Job Summary

Elkhart Community Schools is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Custodial Pool. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. The position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure our school buildings are in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize restrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. A positive attitude and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues are essential. Reliable and punctual attendance is expected.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, onsite position with a schedule of 8 hours per day, operating on a 12-month basis. The role requires a willingness to cooperate and a respectful attitude towards cleanliness.
