About the Role

Ferrari is seeking a Credit Analyst to join its Credit team within Ferrari Financial Services, Inc. in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. This position supports the assessment of customer credit risk by reviewing financial data, credit history, and related documentation to determine whether lending or extending credit is appropriate.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate the credit strength of current and potential customers.
• Review credit bureau records and summarize the overall credit profile.
• Analyze financial and credit documents such as applications, statements, balance sheets, legal records, tax returns, and personal financial statements.
• Calculate liquidity ratios and study trends to identify possible risks.
• Assess the level of risk involved in extending credit to businesses or individuals.
• Prepare accurate, well-structured reports based on financial and credit findings.
• Explain credit decisions clearly and support negotiations when required.
• Handle several priorities at once while staying organized and flexible.
• Track loans regularly to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Follow credit policies, standards, and internal guidelines.
• Keep an eye on the quality of the corporate loan portfolio over time.
• Build and maintain credit models that help identify patterns and forecast trends.

Required Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline, with Finance as a preferred concentration. The company is looking for candidates with 4 to 6 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial or residential lending, or financial analysis. Experience in auto lending is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will be able to assess cash flow, leverage, collateral, and customer strength; communicate professionally with clients, dealership staff, and internal colleagues; exercise sound judgment; work independently; and complete detailed tasks through to the end. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a solid work ethic, integrity, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are essential.
