Job description

About the role

This is a practical internship with a small but expanding creative team in Frankfurt that works on YouTube thumbnails, video production, and social media consulting. The group currently supports the channel Everything is D&D and is also preparing to launch another project.

The position is designed for someone who wants to strengthen creative abilities, create portfolio-ready work, and gain real insight into how YouTube and social content are produced behind the scenes.

What you will do

  • Create short motion segments using After Effects.
  • Cut and assemble YouTube content in Adobe Premiere.
  • Develop eye-catching thumbnails in Photoshop.
  • Take part in occasional shoots and provide support with camera, lighting, and audio.
  • Optionally contribute ideas and support for social media planning and strategy.

What we are looking for

  • Prior practical exposure to After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop is helpful.
  • A curious, creative approach and a willingness to experiment.
  • Genuine interest in YouTube, storytelling, and digital content creation.

What you get

  • The chance to work on content that reaches a real audience.
  • Credit for your work on active YouTube channels.
  • Two to four portfolio pieces that can be used in professional applications.
  • Better understanding of what makes content perform online.
  • Guidance on creative process, strategy, and workflow.
  • A real project experience that can be referenced on your CV.
  • Flexible hours and room to test new ideas.

Additional details

The role can be based in Frankfurt on-site or handled remotely. The internship runs for at least 3 months, and may continue longer if it is part of your academic curriculum. This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The start date is whenever you are available to begin.

Application note

Applicants should share a portfolio, reel, or any sample work that demonstrates their creative skills.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
