Job description
About the Company
CapsLock is a fast-moving marketing organization that builds IT-enabled solutions for major North American clients. Its work centers on scaling customer acquisition through a mix of data-led marketing, creative production, and technology-focused experimentation.
The company brings together teams across marketing, IT, analytics, and media buying to design, test, and improve high-performing funnels. These efforts support predictable growth in verticals including Home Improvement, Health, Legal, and Insurance.
Role Overview
This position is for a Creative Producer who approaches creative work with a research mindset. The ideal person notices what is trending, understands how stories persuade audiences, and can transform marketing insight into video content that drives results.
The role goes beyond production support. It involves leading creative development by generating ideas, refining proven concepts, identifying new formats, testing them, and scaling what performs best. You will work across project management, creative development, analytics, and production.
You will also help shape and present creative ideas that push beyond standard ad formats and uncover new storytelling angles.
Core Work Areas
- Track and record emerging video trends across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and similar channels.
- Conduct research for market positioning and content development.
- Explore new video styles instead of only iterating on existing concepts.
- Turn research findings into testable creative ideas and hypotheses.
- Support cross-functional projects from concept through final delivery.
- Make sure each idea aligns with the client’s value proposition and target audience.
- Coordinate with creators, influencers, and bloggers.
- Work with media buyers to build and manage testing plans that validate creative assumptions.
- Analyze performance metrics such as CTR, hook rate, watch time, and CPA.
- Operate within a repeatable create-test-learn-scale workflow to improve creative output over time.
- Keep marketing, production, and testing teams aligned through clear communication.
AI and Experimentation Mindset
The company values a strong experimentation mindset and practical use of AI tools. This includes using tools such as Midjourney for generating references and Claude for organizing work. A prompt-first approach is preferred, meaning you should be comfortable creating quickly and efficiently rather than spending excessive time searching.
Requirements
Essentially, the role calls for experience in marketing, preferably in paid social or performance marketing, along with a strong grasp of short-form video and what drives results on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You should be confident working with creators and bloggers, including sourcing them, briefing them, and overseeing remote shoots.
You also need to be comfortable reading marketing performance data, highly organized, and able to communicate clearly with different stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to juggle several priorities at once are important. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
Additional strengths that would be helpful include exposure to media buying or close collaboration with media buyers, familiarity with AI tools for creative generation or enhancement, a background in video production or video marketing, experience with UGC or influencer sourcing platforms, and knowledge of how A/B testing and creative experiments are structured and evaluated.
Benefits and Perks
The company positions the compensation as fair and competitive and offers a broad set of benefits designed to support well-being and professional growth.
- Remote work with the freedom to work from the location that suits you best.
- Paid time off to support rest, personal time, and work-life balance.
- Ongoing learning support through workshops, online courses, conferences, and certifications.
- Home office support, including coverage for equipment and furniture needed to build a productive workspace.
- Well-being support such as gym memberships, yoga classes, workout equipment, or even a bicycle.
- Unlimited sick leave so you can recover when needed.
- Medical reimbursement support for health insurance and related expenses, including dental care and psychological support.
- Fully covered co-working space access when you want a change of environment or more social interaction.
- Fun team activities such as gaming nights, fitness challenges, and annual retreats at premium resorts.
Additional Information
The role is remote and part of a remote-first environment.
