Job description
About Airbnb
Airbnb began in 2007, when two hosts opened their San Francisco home to three guests. Since then, the platform has expanded to more than 5 million hosts and over 2 billion guest arrivals across nearly every country in the world. Each day, hosts create distinctive stays and experiences that help guests connect more authentically with local communities.
Team Overview
You will join the CEO Communications team, which shapes the programs, experiences, and communications that define Airbnb’s identity both internally and externally. The team develops everything from press events and executive dinners to the physical items people interact with, creating the moments that make Airbnb feel like Airbnb.
Role Summary
Airbnb is seeking a Creative Producer, Experiential who can move comfortably between creative development and production management. In this role, you will support major initiatives and lead projects from concept through execution, covering high-profile events, branded physical goods, and communications for employees and senior leadership. You should be able to develop a concept in the morning and manage a vendor statement of work in the afternoon, while maintaining a consistently high standard for quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production across events, physical products, and digital deliverables, including schedules, budgets, vendor agreements, statements of work, and purchase orders.
- Contribute to and refine creative briefs and concepts for company culture programs from early idea stage through final delivery.
- Deliver experiential programming such as events, guest appearances, and activations for both internal and external audiences.
- Develop communication assets including promotional materials, pre-event content, post-event recaps, and engagement campaigns.
- Prepare and manage run-of-show documents and coordinate event staff, AV teams, and production partners.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring initiatives to life.
- Maintain an exceptionally high standard for both major deliverables and smaller details.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of experience in a blended creative and production role, either at an agency, production company, or in-house with a major brand. You should have a portfolio that demonstrates both creative development, such as briefs, concepts, and experiences, and hands-on production work across events, broadcasts, campaigns, and physical goods. The role also calls for a strong history of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering on time and within budget. Experience with live or hybrid broadcast events, such as all-hands meetings or town halls, is important. You should be comfortable handling budgets and vendors, including contracts and statements of work, and be able to strengthen ideas with a strong creative eye. Excellent communication skills are essential, especially when working with senior executives. You should remain calm under pressure, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt quickly when circumstances change. A strong interest in company culture and the belief that internal culture matters are also key.
Location
This is a remote-eligible role within the United States. It may occasionally require work from an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, depending on manager agreement. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity and be available to work West Coast hours when needed. Some states are excluded, and eligibility may change over time. If the role is employed through another Airbnb entity, the recruiter will confirm the states from which you may work.
Inclusion and Accessibility
Airbnb is committed to reaching a broad talent pool and values diverse perspectives as a driver of innovation and engagement. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. The company also supports an inclusive hiring process for candidates with disabilities. If you need a reasonable accommodation to complete the application process, you may contact the recruiting team with your full name, the role you are applying for, and the accommodation you need. This contact should be used only if your disability prevents you from completing the online application.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $157,000 to $185,000 USD. Actual pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions, and the range may be updated in the future. This role may also qualify for bonus pay, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
