Role overview
This contract role is for a Creative Designer to support a globally recognised entertainment business that creates and distributes premium television content across several platforms. The position sits within a creative team focused on the EMEA region and offers the chance to shape engaging visuals for children’s entertainment channels and related brands.
You will work on visual storytelling for broadcast, digital, and marketing activity, making sure output is polished, consistent, and suitable for young audiences across different territories.
What you will do
- Produce creative materials for broadcast, digital, social media, marketing, and internal communications.
- Build and adapt key visuals, channel identities, and campaign artwork in a range of formats.
- Develop design assets from existing briefs, concepts, and brand toolkits.
- Work alongside designers, producers, and other creative stakeholders to create effective solutions.
- Bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions and creative reviews.
- Make sure all output follows brand rules and creative quality standards.
- Handle several priorities and deadlines in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Review feedback and apply amendments accurately and efficiently.
- Keep track of current design trends, especially in children’s entertainment and media.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of graphic design experience, preferably gained in media, entertainment, or agency environments. A strong portfolio is important, particularly work that demonstrates good layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
You should be highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, detail-oriented, and confident applying brand guidelines. The role also suits someone who is organised, dependable, collaborative, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a hybrid working setup. Strong English communication skills are essential.
Nice-to-have experience
- Exposure to motion graphics or presentation/design tools such as After Effects, PowerPoint, or InDesign.
- Experience working with children’s entertainment or youth-focused content.
- Additional European language abilities.
Contract details
This is a hybrid role based in Central London. The contract runs for 6 months, pays £156 per day, and falls inside IR35. The intended start date is ASAP.
