What you'll do
- Partner closely with Animation Executives and provide day-to-day support.
- Help run the submission and pitch workflow, including keeping submission records up to date.
- Track development and current series materials, and provide notes on pitches, treatments, and episodes that are submitted.
- Coordinate with internal groups such as marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, creative, production, and post-production, as well as outside partners.
- Create and maintain cross-team tracking grids and other organizational systems.
- Manage the database of series assets and support presentation building.
- Perform research when needed and keep ongoing records of industry talent, overall deals, market trends, and the competitive environment.
- Support and observe creative projects as part of the team’s workflow.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2 years of experience as an assistant in a studio or production company, or 1+ year of experience as a creative executive.
- Background in evaluating industry talent and market trends.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
- Comfort working with confidential information.
- Prior assistant experience in an unscripted department at an agency, studio, or unscripted production company.
Preferred background
- Familiarity with the digital video ecosystem.
- Additional assistant experience in a studio or production company.
- Strong time management skills, goal orientation, and the ability to work well with internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Working knowledge of the television and media industry.
