Job description
Position overview
The Courier will handle the secure, accurate, and prompt movement of supplies, internal packages, mail, and similar items among Genesis PrimeCare sites. The role includes organizing shipments, loading the delivery vehicle, and making sure drop-offs and pickups happen on schedule and reach the right person or department.
In addition to transportation duties, this position requires adherence to all road safety rules and vehicle operation standards. The courier is expected to carry out simple vehicle checks and upkeep to keep transport running reliably, while also obtaining the necessary signatures and records that confirm delivery completion. Professional interaction with employees at all locations is an important part of the job, as this role supports smooth day-to-day operations through dependable logistics support.
Qualifications
Required:
- Completion of high school or possession of a GED
- Current valid driver’s license
- Documented clean driving history
- Working knowledge of delivery procedures and material handling
Preferred:
- One to two years of relevant work experience
