- Design and implement go-to-market plans tailored to each market.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across trade, retail, regulatory, and wider business networks.
- Identify, assess, negotiate with, and onboard importer and distributor partners.

- Manage major retail accounts and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Strengthen presence on leading e-commerce marketplaces.
- Develop joint business plans with important partners to support expansion.
- Work with product and marketing teams to refine portfolio and category plans.
- Improve visibility, listings, promotions, and customer engagement for the category.
- Create trade promotion plans that fit local market conditions and opportunities.
- Use consumer insights and competitive intelligence to find new growth routes.
- Take ownership of revenue, profitability, and overall market development targets.
- Monitor performance and introduce corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate compliance work with legal, regulatory, and supply chain teams.
- Share regular updates on market trends and business performance.
Candidate profile
The ideal professional will bring more than 10 years of experience in FMCG business development, export sales, distribution management, or category management. Experience in Home Care, Personal Care, or related FMCG segments is preferred. A strong network of importers, distributors, wholesalers, and trade partners is important, along with solid knowledge of General Trade, Modern Trade, Wholesale, E-Commerce, and Quick-Commerce channels. The role also requires practical experience in distributor onboarding, trade negotiations, and execution of joint business plans. Working knowledge of export paperwork, customs procedures, and international trade compliance is needed, and prior experience with e-commerce marketplaces will be considered an advantage. A bachelor's degree is required.
