About the Role
ISS International SpA is seeking an experienced Cost Management Analyst to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This role is crucial for monitoring, analyzing, and managing institutional costs to ensure financial efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies. The analyst will serve as the primary contact for all cost-related matters within the FN department.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily monitoring, tracking, and periodic deliverables for the cost management section.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Head of Section and Finance Controlling Manager to report on cost management activity progress.
- Develop and maintain the annual financial cost management plan and model.
- Create and implement procedures for the cost management function.
- Collaborate on developing guidelines for cost planning and modeling.
- Streamline the process from financial planning to annual cost budgeting, leading the preparation of consolidated budgets for parent and subsidiary entities.
- Establish a comprehensive understanding of historical and projected cost and inventory balances.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, ensuring consistency and quality checks for budget content and reports.
- Drive cross-functional alignment on cost objectives, assumptions, and performance expectations with FN stakeholders.
- Provide financial planning, budgeting, and cost reporting to the Management Team and other stakeholders.
- Support strategic decision-making through ad-hoc cost analysis and reporting.
- Liaise with other departments to gather necessary inputs for cost budget preparation.
- Deliver monthly cost analysis against budget, identify potential gaps, and prepare monthly cost reports.
- Analyze inventory trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly.
- Facilitate monthly cost and inventory review meetings with key internal stakeholders and managers to discuss variances and provide gap analysis.
- Lead and monitor cash preservation initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external benchmarking exercises to identify cost management opportunities and potential gaps.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of pertinent professional experience, with a preference for candidates from the Fertilizer industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP S4/Hana software is mandatory.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit good skills in Power BI.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities are essential.
- Fluency in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position located in Doha, Qatar, within the Fertilizer industry. The role requires a 5-year commitment.
