Role overview
This role sits within the Strategy function at RTL AdAlliance and is focused on supporting high-impact, cross-functional work across the business. You will help shape strategic decisions by turning complex questions into clear analyses, business cases, and presentation materials. The position is based in Germany, with collaboration across Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.
What you will do
- Assist in identifying, framing, and ranking strategic and cross-divisional initiatives together with senior leaders.
- Help plan, coordinate, and deliver initiatives that span several teams, functions, and markets.
- Create structured analysis, business cases, and decision-support documents for strategic discussions.
- Build polished strategy presentations and management decks, with a strong focus on PowerPoint.
- Carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis using Excel and other analytical tools.
- Support project management tasks such as monitoring milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Operations.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, content creation, and overall efficiency.
- Help refine internal strategy workflows, tools, and ways of working.
What we are looking for
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including internships, working student roles, and/or apprenticeships.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, and engaging presentations.
- Good quantitative ability and confidence working with Excel models and data.
- Some practical experience using AI tools to boost productivity and output quality.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership across varied topics.
- Strong analytical thinking and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with different stakeholders.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a strong appetite for learning in a fast-changing environment.
- Fluency in English; conversational German is a strong plus.
Team and company context
You will join a small, hands-on Strategy team at RTL AdAlliance that supports a broad set of cross-divisional projects. The team helps break down complex business questions, performs analysis, and turns findings into recommendations that inform decisions across the organization. You will work closely with experienced strategy professionals and senior stakeholders, with plenty of room to learn through practical project work, feedback, and mentoring. The team collaborates extensively with Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and local market teams across Europe, giving wide exposure to the business. Because the work is project-based, the agenda changes frequently and the pace of learning is fast.
