Role overview

The company is expanding its customer base and strengthening its position in the market, with a focus on increasing high-volume revenue across delivery and returns services. This position is suited to a commercially minded sales professional who can win and grow valuable client relationships across domestic and international markets, with particular attention to the retail sector.

This is a high-impact new business role where you will own your pipeline, convert opportunities into long-term partnerships, and represent the full proposition across delivery and returns solutions. The role is based in Dublin and includes travel across the country, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Salary is described as competitive.

What you will do

  • Acquire new high-volume clients for delivery and returns services while contributing to revenue, volume, and profitability goals.
  • Develop and manage a self-generated prospect pipeline, keeping records up to date in CRM tools.
  • Sell the full service offering, including Ireland delivery, cross-border UK/US solutions, and returns products.
  • Work toward ambitious targets for volume, revenue, and margin.
  • Build trusted, long-term commercial relationships with clients.
  • Oversee new client onboarding and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into operations.
  • Support clients through the early stages of the relationship so service levels and expectations are met before handover.
  • Work closely with Operations, Network, and Client teams to confirm readiness, capacity, and delivery success.
  • Use market knowledge and competitor research to spot new growth opportunities.
  • Create client forecasts and contribute to operational planning for successful new business wins.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a resilient, motivated sales professional with a strong history of winning new business in a fast-moving commercial setting.

  • At least 5 years of experience in new business sales within logistics, parcel delivery, or eCommerce.
  • A clear record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid knowledge of domestic and international parcel and returns solutions.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing a self-sourced sales pipeline.
  • Commercial judgement, including pricing and profitability awareness.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • A confident, relationship-focused style with both clients and internal teams.
  • The ability to work independently in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisation and time management while handling several opportunities at once.
  • A determined, results-oriented approach.
  • A full, clean driving licence, as travel is required.
