Role overview
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end hiring of mid- to senior-level talent, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing methods. This position is based on site in Springfield, Missouri.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work history.
- At least 4 years of recruiting experience.
- Proven ability to work on your own with drive, persistence, and initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with persuasive ability.
- Experience handling several open roles, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong focus on accuracy, deadlines, and delivering results.
- Deep experience using internet-based sourcing and creative recruiting approaches.
- Background recruiting technical and engineering talent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Human Resources manager to assess hiring needs and build cost-effective recruiting plans that help meet staffing targets.
- Find and engage qualified candidates through creative search techniques such as cold calling, networking, online search tools, and candidate mining.
- Develop recruiting resources and coordinate with the Director of Human Resources to stay within budget, including adding tools, attending job fairs and trade shows, and using other approved resources.
- Reach out to candidates, screen them, and determine fit for specific openings.
- Set up communication and interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Safeguard confidential company information.
- Follow DMP data classification standards and company policies.
- Look for ways to improve efficiency while remaining compliant with requirements.
- Support other team members or departments when needed and may help train coworkers on assigned duties.
- Complete additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at management's direction.
