Role overview
Media City Qatar is seeking a Corporate Performance Officer to help convert strategy into measurable results. In this role, you will define and follow key performance indicators, study gaps in delivery, and turn performance data into practical recommendations for senior leaders. You will also help ensure that progress is tracked consistently across the organization so business units stay aligned with strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen and refine corporate performance management frameworks in line with recognized global standards and best practices.
- Oversee the operation of performance governance models and frameworks that support the company strategy.
- Track the organization’s portfolio of programs and projects, making sure each one stays connected to strategic priorities and target outcomes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that present KPIs at both project and enterprise level.
- Review performance data to spot variances, risks, opportunities, and any issues that need escalation.
- Provide timely performance updates and analytical insights to the Head of PMO and Corporate Performance to support decision-making.
- Work with stakeholders to maintain clarity, accountability, and alignment in performance delivery.
- Assist in drafting and updating departmental policies, delegation of authority, procedures, and standard operating processes that improve performance management.
- Help design and implement process roadmaps that connect day-to-day operations with strategic objectives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen transparency, and optimize cost within performance systems and processes.
- Encourage a results-oriented culture through initiatives that improve organizational accountability and effectiveness.
- Prepare consolidated performance reports and executive dashboards for leadership review.
- Create polished PowerPoint presentations that use clear visuals and strategic analysis for senior decision-makers.
- Support the development of analytical papers and white papers that inform enterprise performance oversight and strategic choices.
- Contribute to the governance of organization-wide performance frameworks.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Strong command of English; Arabic fluency is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in corporate performance reporting within a fast-moving work environment.
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as MS Excel or similar applications.
- Advanced ability in Excel and PowerPoint, along with data visualization skills.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Ability to use business intelligence and analytics tools for dashboarding and reporting.
- Capability to create concise, structured reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Strong attention to detail, personal discipline, and consistency in execution.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Organized, systematic, and detail-focused approach to planning and delivery.
- Innovative mindset with an orientation toward growth and improvement.
