Job description

Role overview

The IFRS Foundation is hiring a Corporate Partnerships Manager to oversee and expand a portfolio of corporate supporters. This position contributes to corporate income goals and helps maintain strong, well-governed funding relationships that support the Foundation’s public interest mission.

The role sits within the Revenue function, which helps safeguard the long-term financial strength and independence of the Foundation and its standard-setting boards. The work spans corporate funding, jurisdictional contributions, philanthropy, and earned revenue, with a focus on building a stable and diversified income base.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in London with a hybrid working arrangement. The role reports to the Director, Jurisdictional Engagement and Funding.

What you will do

  • Spot and progress corporate funding opportunities that fit the Foundation’s revenue approach.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of qualified corporate prospects and keep it actively managed.
  • Help create clear corporate engagement materials that reflect the Foundation’s public interest purpose.
  • Support annual income planning and forecasting activities.
  • Keep track of corporate and capital market trends relevant to fundraising.
  • Manage a defined group of corporate supporters and plan engagement activity to encourage retention and ongoing support.
  • Lead external relationship meetings and coordinate internal colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Draft or support funding proposals and briefing documents, bringing together input from technical, finance, and communications teams.
  • Support negotiation of funding agreements within set limits and ensure approvals and documentation are completed properly.
  • Track income performance, pipeline conversion, supporter retention, and progress against targets.
  • Provide regular portfolio updates and contribute to quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Ensure funding relationships meet Foundation policy, governance, independence, neutrality, and due diligence requirements.
  • Work with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage agreements and escalate risks when needed.
  • Collaborate across revenue-related teams and represent the Foundation professionally in meetings with corporate supporters, prospects, intermediaries, and industry bodies.
  • Help improve corporate engagement processes, tools, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Background in corporate partnerships, corporate fundraising, institutional fundraising, or business development.
  • Proven contribution to income growth, relationship development, or supporter retention.
  • Experience managing pipelines, portfolios, and income targets.
  • Good financial understanding, including budgeting basics and income forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, international, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial judgement applied within a public interest setting.
  • Confident, clear communication tailored to different audiences.
  • Solid planning, prioritisation, and follow-through.
  • Comfort using data, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong awareness of governance requirements.
  • Desirable: experience securing five- or six-figure corporate funding relationships.
  • Desirable: familiarity with sustainability, financial reporting, or capital markets environments.
  • Desirable: experience working with multinational corporates, professional services firms, or financial institutions.

Additional details

The role requires regular presence in the London office under a hybrid model. Some international travel may be needed, and occasional work across time zones may be required to support global relationships.

The postholder will make day-to-day decisions for the assigned portfolio and pipeline, move opportunities and proposals forward within agreed limits, and recommend priorities and next steps. Higher-value, higher-risk, or strategically sensitive relationships will be escalated to the Director for review and approval.

Key internal partners include Revenue Operations, philanthropy, jurisdictional engagement and earned revenue colleagues, as well as Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Communications, technical leadership across the IASB and ISSB, and, where relevant, Foundation leadership and Trustees. External stakeholders include corporate supporters, prospective contributors, multinational corporates, professional services firms, financial institutions, industry bodies, intermediaries, and other strategic collaborators.

Applications close on 31 July 2026. The Foundation may interview candidates and close the process early if a suitable person is identified.
