American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) develops and commercializes domestic, sustainable sources of critical battery materials. Its work includes lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies that supply materials used in electric vehicles, grid storage, and consumer electronics and tools. The company’s first-of-its-kind systems produce battery materials at commercial scale for the battery manufacturing supply chain.

Role summary

ABTC is hiring a Corporate Controller to join its expanding Accounting and Finance team in Reno, Nevada. This position is central to the company’s growth and will offer the chance to handle multiple technical accounting initiatives, investigate complex issues, and help build new accounting policies and procedures.

The right candidate will do well in a fast-moving setting, enjoy researching unfamiliar problems, collaborate across functions, and adapt quickly as priorities shift.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee the company’s accounting operations, support financial reporting, and help strengthen internal controls and process efficiency.

This role is considered onsite in Reno, NV and is full-time.
