Role overview

LVMH North America is hiring a Corporate Communications Trainee for its New York office. This trainee role is designed for in-person work at least three days each week, for 30 hours per week, across the period from May/June 2026 through December 2027. The expected start date is June 2026.

LVMH is a global luxury group with a portfolio of 75 maisons and operations spanning multiple luxury sectors. The organization emphasizes creativity, innovation, collaboration, and long-term positive impact through social, environmental, and cultural initiatives.

What you will do

The position supports corporate communications, internal communications, CSR platforms, digital content, newsletters, analytics, and event execution. The trainee will work closely with leadership and other internal and external partners to create and maintain engaging communication materials and improve digital engagement across platforms.

Intranet content and platform support

  • Assist the VP and Director in producing articles, community updates, presentations, infographics, and other content for the VONA intranet.
  • Learn the structure and functionality of the VONA platform and later support training for community managers.
  • Coordinate technical help requests with IT teams in New York and Paris.
  • Use analytics tools to track VONA traffic and recommend improvements based on findings.
  • Support the weekly newsletter from creation through distribution.
  • Help build an editorial calendar that supports employer branding and the CSR roadmap on the intranet.
  • Look for new content opportunities that reflect company initiatives, values, and events.
  • Keep intranet content current, relevant, and engaging.
  • Capture photo and video content at events to strengthen platform engagement.

Digital communications support

  • Assist with newsletter development.
  • Create event flyers and newsletter banners.
  • Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person events when needed.
  • Maintain content schedules and help monitor project workflows.

Reporting and analytics

  • Review performance data, track intranet and email newsletter metrics, and prepare quarterly dashboard summaries.
  • Maintain reports covering site analytics, newsletter performance, and CSR reporting outcomes.

Event logistics and coordination

  • Support and often lead event logistics, including preparation before the event, acting as a point of contact for vendors, partners, and volunteers, managing the on-site experience, capturing content, and following up afterward.

Additional responsibilities

  • Work with a freelance graphic designer to build polished PowerPoint presentations for department and executive communications.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.
  • Help manage relationships with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and service providers involved in communications work.

Candidate profile

The right candidate should combine creative thinking with strong analytical ability and show interest in new digital tools and trends. Success in this role depends on being organized, adaptable, tactful, and comfortable working across a matrixed organization with many stakeholders.

Education and experience

Ideal candidates are pursuing graduate studies in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related digital/CIS field. Relevant experience in digital communications is considered important. Prior exposure to fashion or luxury brands is preferred but not required.

Skills and tools

The role calls for strong design sense, advanced Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with AI-enabled tools, basic HTML/CSS knowledge for web updates, excellent writing ability, and comfort with social and digital marketing practices. Photography and videography basics, including editing software, are also helpful. Experience with internal communications platforms is a plus.

Compensation and benefits

The pay rate is $20 per hour for undergraduate students and $25 per hour for graduate students and graduates. The role includes world-class training and development, plus opportunities to build a network across LVMH’s 75 maisons.

Reporting line

This position reports to the Vice President, Corporate Communications & CSR, and the Director, Corporate Communications & CSR.
