About the Role

Zendesk is looking for a Corporate Account Executive to help grow its corporate customer base and support revenue expansion in the SaaS space. This position focuses on winning new business, closing deals of different sizes, and building strong relationships that align Zendesk’s solutions with customer goals. The role is hybrid and requires attendance at the office in London or Dublin for at least two days each week. The exact in-office schedule will be set by the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue by bringing in new customers and shaping account growth plans.
  • Develop strong customer relationships that support satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for additional products and services within existing accounts.
  • Use customer data, intent signals, and adoption history to guide prospecting and retention efforts.
  • Present Zendesk offerings in a way that matches customer business needs and supports expansion.
  • Run competitive sales processes and build persuasive business cases through effective communication and value-based selling.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and keep sales records up to date in Salesforce.
  • Prepare reliable weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts while working toward quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Partner with internal teams to improve sales strategy and execution.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline KPIs.

Candidate Profile

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience closing B2B deals or working in solution engineering, ideally in SaaS, with a strong record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing and growing customer relationships at multiple levels.
  • Strong abilities in presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Solid skills in account research, prospecting, and customer outreach.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative approach, and a desire to keep developing professionally.
  • Good understanding of market trends and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills, with comfort handling a large number of opportunities at once.
  • Experience building and using territory plans.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Clari.

Hybrid Working

This role follows Zendesk’s hybrid working model, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Team members are expected to work from a local office for part of the week, with the schedule determined by the hiring manager.
