Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Core Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care across a range of obstetric and gynaecological services, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, emergency gynaecology, and outpatient care. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills, gain experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology, and work closely with senior medical staff in a supportive training environment.
Main Duties of the Job
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit, including providing cover for the gynae and maternity wards, managing gynae emergency patients in the ED, handling labour ward triage, and assisting in caesarean sections.
- Participate in the first on-call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Assist in the training of junior medical staff (FY2 level).
