Role overview

This contract opportunity supports a global travel platform that helps people book stays, activities, and local experiences while encouraging authentic, inclusive, and sustainable travel. The company uses technology to help people earn from their spaces, passions, and talents. The position is fully remote and focused on content operations for hotel property pages.

What you will do

  • Partner with the Content Ops Lead and Media Ops team to assemble and review content for hotel property pages.
  • Adjust the content workflow depending on how each partner is connected.
  • Check the accuracy and completeness of content integrations when connectivity is available.
  • Create complete content builds when no integration exists.
  • Build practical knowledge of partner-specific processes and expectations.
  • Stay ahead of partner needs and requirements wherever possible.
  • Escalate repeated blockers, missing content, and partner-specific challenges to the Content Ops Lead.
  • Handle several property builds at the same time while preserving accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare room-level copy for hotel pages according to established standards.
  • Use AI writing tools and prompting methods to draft, improve, and polish room descriptions and related copy.
  • Review AI-assisted text for correctness, quality, and brand tone.
  • Organize and tag property and room images.
  • Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team culture.

What the employer is looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in content production, editorial work, marketing, hospitality, or a similar field.
  • Excellent written English, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation and editing processes.
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted writing tools.
  • Ability to learn prompting techniques for content generation and refinement.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Skill in spotting inconsistencies in written content and imagery.
  • Experience tagging and organizing photos.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows and partner expectations.
  • A positive, team-first approach.

Preferred background

  • Experience using Airtable.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Experience with content management platforms.
  • Background in hospitality.
  • Background in travel.
  • Background in e-commerce.
  • Experience creating or managing hotel/property-related content.
  • Availability in the EST time zone is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range, and many hires are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. Contractor benefits may be available through a third-party employer of record after the applicable waiting period for eligible engagements. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).
